The City of Iqaluit Municipal Enforcement Department, in partnership with the Iqaluit RCMP, conducted random sobriety and road safety check-stops, along with roving patrols, throughout Iqaluit on the weekends of December 12–13 and 19–20.

Christmas Parade Rescheduled – Santa Meet and Greet Still On

December 13, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

Due to today's cold temperatures and windy conditions, the City of Iqaluit is rescheduling the Christmas Parade. The parade, originally planned for December 13, will now take place on Saturday, December 20 at 12:00 PM.
