Today’s planned water interruption for buildings 441, 442, 443, 445, 446, 447, 450, 451, 452, 453, 455, 1631, 1637, 1639, 1641 + 1643 has been postponed. As a result, there is no new precautionary boil water order for those residences. We will inform residents when we reschedule. Thank you for your patience.

On Wednesday October 25th, beginning at 9 pm, there will be a slight traffic disruption. A large generator is being moved from the Deep Sea port to the power plant.

The entire process is expected to take two hours. Please be aware of the work crews, and thank you for your patience.

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents of a road closure planned for Sinaa Street is extended until November 24th. This closure is to allow for street upgrades and culvert installation.

Local traffic will still be able to access Sinaa Street throughout the duration of the work. The site layout and traffic control plans are shown below.
