Power Outage - AWG Arena Power

Due to the current power outage, there is no power at the Arctic Winter Games Arena. All programming at the Arena and Youth Centre is cancelled until 5 pm.

The power is expected to return before 5 pm. If it does, programming will resume as scheduled. If not, programming will remain postponed.

November 22, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

Please be advised of a water shut down on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.

Location of water interruption: 400’s, 500’s +1600’s

The Government of Nunavut will issue a precautionary boil water advisory for the above addresses following the shutdown.
