Join us for an Open House Information Night on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Iqaluit Fire Hall.

Temporary Water Pressure Changes – 5200 Area

The City of Iqaluit is advising residents in the 5200 area to expect short-term dips in water pressure between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. over the next week, while City staff investigate an automation-related issue.
At 7:30 a.m. this morning, a brief drop in pressure was recorded, consistent with reported issues from this isolated area. Water pressure is currently back to normal, and there is no indication of a wider service interruption.

Christmas Parade Route and Road Delays

Join us for the Christmas parade!
The Christmas parade will leave from the Arctic Winter Games Arena at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 13th, travelling down Niaqunngusiariaq Road through 4-Corners to Queen Elizabeth Drive. The parade will conclude at Nakashuk School.
We will award prizes for:

• Most Spirited
• Best Youth Float
