The City of Iqaluit would like to remind all clients utilizing the Inuit Child First Initiative that the program will conclude on Monday, March 31, 2025. The final day for purchases under this program is Monday, March 31, and any remaining balances after this date will be forfeited back to the program. No exemptions or extensions will be granted beyond this date.

Inclement Weather - Winter Storm Warning

17:00 - The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning.

City facilities remain open and municipal services, such as trucked services, landfill and garbage pickup, are operational.

Residents are asked to remain alert and exercise caution when operating motor vehicles, as conditions may quickly deteriorate.

The City of Iqaluit advises all property owners and lessees that the Notice of Assessment for the 2024 Tax Assessment (applicable to the 2025 Tax Year) has been mailed out effective January 31, 2025.
