April 16, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that City offices will be closed to the public on:
· Friday, April 18 for Good Friday
· Monday, April 21 for Easter Monday
Despite these closures, residential water and sewer services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedules.

Snowmobile Trails
April 14, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
City of Iqaluit Public Works wishes to inform residents that some of the snowmobile trails inside the City are becoming impassable due to the melting conditions.
City crews have begun clearing ditches to prepare for the spring melt. That means, some of the previously accessible snowmobile trails may become impassable. Please use caution while travelling on the City trails.
