Blizzard information – (867) 979-5300The City of Iqaluit Municipal Enforcement department in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) conducted random sobriety and road safety checkstops throughout the City of Iqaluit on the Thanksgiving long weekend.
The City of Iqaluit will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Day and paint exchange on Saturday October 14th, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the side of Building 623 at the Four Corners. This event provides residents an opportunity to safely dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste, as well as an opportunity for residents to swap paint canisters.
Water service remains off as scheduled for 511, 357, 356, 355, 354, 353, 352, 351, 350, 183, 185, 187, 189, 155, 157, 159, 161, 162, 163, 165, 166, 168, 170, 190, 192.

The City of Iqaluit is pleased to inform the public that the Walk For The Cure event hosted by the City of Iqaluit Firefighters was a resounding success.
Firefighters estimate that between 200 and 300 people joined them on October 2nd, for a 1K and 5K walk or run, a chance to meet the firefighters and see their trucks, face painting and a bake sale.
