The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Niaqunngusiariaq Road, in the area of the Arctic Winter Games Complex, from Wednesday, May 14 to Saturday, May 17, 2025.

This closure is necessary to allow for the installation of a new culvert.

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents of a temporary road closure on Akilliq Drive, from the Discovery Hotel to the intersection of Allannguaq Street. This closure is in place to allow crews to open a nearby creek, facilitating spring thaw runoff.

This section of the road is currently closed and is expected to reopen at 9:00 PM tonight.
