City Office Closures for Canada Day and Nunavut Day
June 27, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that City offices will be closed on the following dates in celebration of national holidays:

   Canada Day: Tuesday, July 1, 2025
   Nunavut Day: Wednesday, July 9, 2025

Aquatic Centre Hours:
The Aquatic Centre will be open with holiday hours from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on both Canada Day (July 1) and Nunavut Day (July 9).

Recreation Facilities:
All other recreation facilities will be closed on both days, as City recreation staff will be assisting with holiday events.

Trucked Services:
Trucked services will not be impacted by the holiday and will operate their regular hours.
