The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a complete road closure of portions of Jack Anawak Street and Niaqunngusiariaq Road on March 18, 2026.

Jack Anawak Street (between Jose Kusugak Lane and Niaqunngusiariaq Road) and Niaqunngusiariaq Road (between Jack Anawak Street and John Amagoalik Lane) will be closed to traffic.

Aquatic Centre Re-Opening

The City of Iqaluit is pleased to advise residents that the Aquatic Centre will reopen today at 5:00 PM.

City staff have completed the necessary repairs to ensure the facility can safely welcome residents back. The City appreciates the community’s patience during the temporary closure.
