The City of Iqaluit Municipal Enforcement Department, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), is proud to announce the launch of a new pilot project aimed at enhancing public safety and community well-being in our city.
Please be advised of a water shut down on January 29, from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.
Location of water interruption: 1043, 1086, 1087, 1093, 1095, 1101, 1103, 1104A/B/C, 1105, 1106, 1107.
The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents of important updates to the process for obtaining burn permits, in accordance with Iqaluit Bylaw 324.
Beginning this year, residents and businesses will be required to submit only one burn permit application per calendar year. There are two types of permits available, depending on the size and purpose of the burn.
