Adoption of Domestic Animal Control Amendment Bylaw No. 1018
June 12, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit wishes to advise residents that Domestic Animal Control Amendment By-Law No. 1018 was adopted during City Council Meeting #9 on June 10, 2025.

Residents are reminded of the importance of licensing their pets. City Registration Tags help ensure pets can be identified and returned to their owners. Tags are available free of charge at the following locations:
