City Office Closure – Remembrance Day

November 7, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that City offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to observe Remembrance Day.

Please note that residential water and sewer services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedule. The Iqaluit Aquatic Centre will be open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, while the Arnaitok and Arctic Winter Games Arenas will be closed.

As we take this time to honour and reflect, we remember and express our deepest gratitude to those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. This day offers an opportunity to come together in gratitude and reflection as we honour those who have served.
