Under the new system:
Please be advised of a water shut down on Saturday, November 15, from approximately 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.
Location of water interruption:
2100’s, 2200’s, 2400’s, 2600’s, 2700’s, 2802’s, 2804’s, 2806’s, 4000’s, and 4100’s.
The City of Iqaluit is advising residents that a mix of freezing and near-freezing temperatures over the next few days may result in icy and unpredictable road conditions. Conditions are expected to be especially challenging around 5:00 PM today, when a dip in temperature is likely to cause rapid surface freezing during peak traffic hours.
