The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents who have not yet updated their mailing address to do so as soon as possible. The local Post Office transitioned from P.O. Box addresses to civic addresses in 2024, and it is essential that we have your current civic address on file.

The City of Iqaluit Municipal Enforcement Department would like to remind motorists that headlights and taillights must be turned on during hours of darkness or in inclement weather.

Recently, there has been an increase in motorists driving at night with only their daytime running lights activated, leaving their taillights off. This can create dangerous conditions for all road users.
