Holiday schedule for trucked-services and city office closures

The City would like to advise residents that City offices will be closed to the public and trucked services will not run on:
• Monday, July 11, 2022
Please be advised of the following alternate schedule for trucked-services:
Water and Sewer Truck services
• Monday, July 11, 2022 – No trucked services
• Tuesday, July 12, 2022 – 6:00 am until finished

The City is pleased to announce that the annual residential large item pick-up program will take place from July 11 to July 15, 2022. This is an opportunity for residents to discard difficult to remove items without a fee with the help of Public Works.

The City of Iqaluit advises residents that the precautionary boil water advisory is lifted for the
following location: 89-99, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 111, 112, 113, 114, 118, 273.
If residents experience water discolouration, they are advised to run their cold tap water for approximately ten minutes, to flush the discolouration out.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closures and traffic control measures being implemented on Niaqunngusiariaq Street, to allow sewer upgrades to be performed. This work marks the beginning of the sewer upgrade project that will take place along Niaqunngusiariaq Street up to Allanguaq Street.

Partial Road Closure and Traffic Control on Hanson Drive (Apex)
June 30, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut
The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a road closure and traffic control measures being implemented on Hanson Drive (Apex) to allow road upgrades to be performed. Local traffic will still be able to access their place of residence along Hanson Drive throughout the duration of the work. Through traffic along Hanson Drive will be closed.
