February 3, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to ask residents to conserve water this weekend.

The seasonable February temperatures add another level of difficulty to all outdoor operations, and the City’s frontline staff will be doing their jobs in those challenging conditions.

Any efforts to conserve water will free Public Works employees to handle more pressing matters. Thank you for your assistance.

The Department of Recreation is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a parade and athlete event on Sunday February 5th, 2023 to Celebrate Nunavuts AWG athletes

The Iqaluit Recreation Department would like to advise residents of the possibility of traffic delays due to barricades along the parade route.

January 27, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Anuri Street between houses 4052 and 4054 due to an emergency water break.

Local traffic will still be able to access either end of this street, as well as all driveways, throughout the duration of the work. These measures are anticipated to be in effect from January 27 to February 06, 2023.
