Recreation Update – Partial Reopening of Outdoor Facilities

The City of Iqaluit continues to work closely with the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Health to monitor and respond as needed to the COVID-19 situation.

In light of the May 25th, 2020 announcement from the Chief Public Health Officer (CPHO) regarding the relaxing of outdoor restrictions, the City of Iqaluit will be re-opening the following facilities commencing Monday, June 1st, 2020:

The following change is proposed:

1. To Approve an amendment to General Plan By-law No.703 to:

a.            Amend Figure 5 of General Plan 703, “Annex B – Inuit Owned Land Parcel ‘E’ Development Scheme” to conform with Plan of Survey 4755.
