Please be advised of a water shut down in the Core Area on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to allow for a repair to the water infrastructure.
Location of water interruption: 157, 159, 161, 163, 165, 166, 168, 170, 183, 185a to f, 187 a to f, 187 a to f, 189 a to f, 190, 191 a to f, 192, 350.
The City of Iqaluit is issuing a boil water advisory for these residents.
The City of Iqaluit advises residents that the boil water advisory is lifted for the following location: 157, 159, 161, 163, 165, 166, 168, 170, 183, 185a to f, 187 a to f, 187 a to f, 189 a to f, 190, 191 a to f, 192, 350.

On January 20th, 2021, six Iqaluit Emergency Services Staff assisted in the Co-op fire in Igloolik at the request of the Nunavut Fire Marshal’s Office (NFMO).
The responding team consisting of two chief officers, three fire staff, and one volunteer accompanied a member of the NFMO on a flight from Iqaluit to Igloolik on January 20th to support the Igloolik fire department.
