Reminders for roadside pickup service
The City is reminding everyone of garbage bin requirements to allow for uninterrupted roadside pickup service.
Large garbage bags are the only items that the Public Works crew will pick up with regular roadside service. Small shopping bags and individual items must be placed inside large garbage bags.

COVID-19 mask reminder
The City of Iqaluit is reminding residents and businesses that wearing facemasks in public areas is still highly encouraged.
While the COVID-19 vaccine is Nunavut’s best protection against the virus, the Chief Public Health Officer continues to recommend wearing facemasks when you leave home.
The City thanks everyone for their continued efforts in following the preventative health measures to help protect yourself and others.
