Road Closure - Abe Okpik Street
September 22, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closure of Abe Okpik Street at the corner of Niaqunngusiariaq Drive (see map below), to allow for the replacement of the culvert.

The closure will be in effect from Saturday, September 24 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, September 25 from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The City of Iqaluit thanks residents for their understanding.

Traffic Safety Bylaw Amendment 943, Amends Traffic Safety Bylaw No. 894, and Impounded Vehicle and Equipment Bylaw No. 944

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residence of the newly enacted amendment to the City of Iqaluit Traffic Safety Bylaw No. 894, being the amended Traffic Safety Bylaw No. 943. Additionally the City of Iqaluit enacts Bylaw No. 944 Impounded Vehicle and Equipment bylaw.

The City of Iqaluit advises residents that the precautionary boil water advisory is lifted for the following location: 100’s, 200’s, 300’s.
