The motion passed unanimously at a City Council Meeting on July 27, 2021.

City invites input for single-use plastic reduction strategy
August 12, 2021 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City is considering a bylaw to ban single-use checkout plastic bags in 2022 and is looking at developing a strategy to reduce other single-use items in the City of Iqaluit.

To submit your feedback on single-use plastic reduction, bans and reusable alternatives, please fill out the online survey by September 16, 2021.

•          Tarr Inlet Trailhead
