Aiggilii Road in Apex reopens

Aiggilii Road in Apex reopens

Aiggilii Road has reopened after snowmelt water from Apex River overflowed onto the bypass road into Apex on June 24, 2021.

Minimal damage was done and repairs to Aiggilii Road is underway. Two additional culverts will be installed to handle any increased water flow in the future.

For everyone’s safety, the City asks residents to refrain from visiting the area. The unpredictable water flow is a potential danger that can pull people into the river. The City thanks you for your cooperation.
