The City of Iqaluit wishes to inform residents that the Iqaluit Fire Department will conduct its annual live fire training on September 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This program, running from September 5th until November 7th, 2024, offers a unique opportunity for residents to dispose of large metal waste items conveniently.
The City is pleased to announce that the annual residential large item pick-up program will take place from September 09 to September 14, 2024. This is an opportunity for residents to discard difficult to remove items without a fee with the help of Public Works.
The City of Iqaluit Landfill will be closed to the public today due to unforeseen circumstances, however we anticipate returning to regular hours of operation on September 4, 2024.
