Road Closure in Core Area

 

Residents are advised of a road closure in the Core Area that connects Umiaq Crescent and Nipisa Street, between building #166 and #168.

The closure will take place on Friday, September 18th from 6a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow for a road repair.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.

City of Iqaluit Burn Permit

A Burn Permit helps the department be aware of locations where smoke may be reported and help everyone burn safely and in compliance with the city bylaws. Complete and send form to dispatch@iqaluit.ca. You will receive a receipt with either an approval or denial. Submitted permits will be reviewed twice daily at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Applications received after 6 p.m. for a same-day permit will not be accepted. For more information, please refer to By-Law #324.

LABOUR DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR ALL CITY FACILITIES
AND TRUCKED-SERVICES  

September 5, 2020 (IQALUIT, NUNAVUT) - The City would like to advise residents that City offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2020. Truck services will also not operate on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Residents requesting water delivery on Monday may call the City’s dispatch service at 979.5650, from 8 AM to 4 PM. A service charge of $250 will be applied for emergency delivery.
