The City of Iqaluit is looking for residents interested in serving as Members-at-Large on the following board:

• Board of Revision (3 positions)

All interested individuals must be in good financial standing with the City (no more than $500.00 in arrears). There is a $100.00 indemnity paid via direct deposit for each meeting attended.

Delays in Garbage Collection 
January 11, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a delay in garbage collection due to the recent extreme cold weather affecting garbage truck operations.

A back-up garbage truck is being mobilized and the City is expecting this to be operational within the next 24 hours to assist with overdue collections.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.

Partial Road Closure and Traffic Control at Niaqungusiariaq Drive
December 31, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure and traffic control measures being implemented around the Qikiqtani General Hospital and Tammattaavik boarding home to repair an old sewer line.
