Please be advised of a water shut down on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.
The City of Iqaluit is currently accepting project applications from individuals and organizations for Community based funding provided under the Government of Nunavut’s Community Wellness Funding 2022-2023. This Fund will support project applications up to $20,000.
The Community Wellness Fund is provided for community-based initiatives that aim to improve the health and well-being of Iqaluit and Nunavummiut.
Please be advised of a water shut down on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.
The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the holiday hours and closures, to recreation facilities and programs, over the winter holidays.

December 27: Holiday Hours (12:00PM-4:00PM Fitness Centre, 1:00-3:00PM Public Swim)
The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the 2-phased road closure and traffic control measures being implemented around the 4-corners intersection to allow for road upgrades. The first road closure will be along Niaqunngusirq Street (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive). The second phase of the closure will be along Federal Road (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive).
The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that Water and Sewer delivery services will be suspended on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 to allow for necessary maintenance upgrades to the fleet.
Services will resume on Sunday, December 18th, 2022 at 6:00 AM and all residents affected by the Saturday suspension will have their water and sewer services delivered on this day.

• Board of Revision (3 positions)
All interested individuals must be in good financial standing with the City (no more than $500.00 in arrears). There is a $100.00 indemnity paid via direct deposit for each meeting attended.
