Toonik Tyme Civic Holiday
March 7, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City is pleased to announce that the Civic Holiday for Toonik Tyme will be held this year on Friday March 31, 2023.

As per By-law 735 and amendment 771, this full-day civic holiday, scheduled on the first Friday of the festival. The holiday is intended to allow residents time to participate in events.

There will be no regular trucked-services for water delivery, waste-water removal and garbage pick-up. City offices and the landfill will be closed. The landfill will reopen for regular hours on Saturday April 1st, the City offices reopen on April 3rd.
