Road Closure – Palaugaa Drive

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents of a road closure planned for from July 8th to 12th, on Palaugaa Drive. This closure is to allow for street upgrades and culvert installation.

Local traffic will still be able to access Palaugaa Drive throughout the duration of the work. The site layout and traffic control plans are shown below.

Successful Annual Large Item Pick-up

The City of Iqaluit wants to thank residents and our partners for another successful year of large item pick-up. Combined with the community Clean-up, the City is looking great for the summer.

There are some items that remain on the roadside. These are items like tires and electronics that were not eligible for large item pick-up. Landlords and residents are reminded that they are responsible for the removal of those ineligible items.
