The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that due to heavy drifting and inclement weather, the City recommends that residents avoid driving on the road to Apex, unless absolutely necessary.

Residents who must drive on the road to Apex are advised proceed with caution.

Please be advised of a water shut down Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.

Location of water interruption: Lower Iqaluit

The City of Iqaluit is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory for all residents, with the exception to those who are on trucked water services.

7:00 PM - The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that city services have been restored, including water delivery, waste management and garbage removal, and that normal business hours have resumed. City recreational facilities are also open.
