Water Shut Down and Boil Water Advisory in Core Area
Please be advised of a water shut down in the Core Area on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to allow for a repair to the water infrastructure.
Location of water interruption: Core Area
The City of Iqaluit is issuing a boil water advisory for these residents.
This is a precautionary measure due to a break in the water line during a repair to our water infrastructure.

Residents are advised of a road closure in Nunavut Drive, in the area of the Curling Rink is closed to all traffic effective immediately until 10:00 p.m Saturday June 19th 2021.
Parking for those attending the vaccination clinic is available outside building 901.

Community Cleanup 2021
The City is pleased to announce that the annual community cleanup will take place over the course of a month, starting June 18, 2021. This year, participants are reminded to social distance while taking part in cleanup activities.
Bags, gloves and the ability to sign out garbage pickers will be available at different stations around the City to promote a widespread, socially distant, cleaning initiative.
