To maintain consistency across all programs, swimming lesson registration will follow the same lottery system used for our summer day camps.

The City of Iqaluit and Caribou Cabs would like to provide clarification to residents regarding the continued use of orange taxi vouchers purchased prior to the May 2025 fare adjustment. These vouchers were accepted for approximately four months following the fare increase and are to be accepted beyond that point.

Community Walk for Embrace Life Day

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a community walk organized by the Embrace Life Council in recognition of Embrace Life Day.

The walk is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., beginning at the 4 Corners and ending at the Elders Qammaq. This annual event promotes mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and community connection.
