City of Iqaluit Public Works wishes to inform residents that some of the snowmobile trails inside the City are becoming impassable due to the melting conditions.
City crews have begun clearing ditches to prepare for the spring melt. That means, some of the previously accessible snowmobile trails may become impassable. Please use caution while travelling on the City trails.

In accordance with By-law #771, this designated civic holiday takes place on the first Friday of the Toonik Tyme festival and allows residents the opportunity to participate in local celebrations and events.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events Schedule

The City of Iqaluit is pleased to announce a series of Household Hazardous Waste collection events taking place throughout the community this summer and fall. These events give residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted or expired hazardous household items.
