Come on out and support a great cause!  All funds raised go towards this year's Christmas Games.

Cost: $200/team.  Registration is due September 6th (Wednesday) by the end of day. For more information, contact Brittany Masson at 979-5611 or 975-8508.

Teams must consist of 8 players and two subs, with three females on the playing field at all times.

Prizes and the turf time are generously sponsored by Embrace Life Council for Embrace Life Day. 

Mass Registration is happening Saturday, September 16th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Citizens are invited learn more about or sign up for the various activities, programming, and volunteer opportunities the community has to offer. 

If your group wants to have a table at Mass Registration, please contact Recreation Reception to register your table at 979-5611 or recreation@city.iqaluit.nu.ca.  Registration is due September 8th by the end of the day.

The Annual pool shutdown is occuring August 13th to 19th inclusive.  The Fitness Centre will still be open.

Join us as we celebrate Canada's Indigenous People and the unique cultural heritage of this country's First Peoples.  Events happening from Noon until 3:00pm in Iqaluit Square.  Brought to you in partnership with INAC.

Join us for the celebration of Canada's 150th birthday.  Starting with a multi-k Fun Run in the park at 9:00am, there will be all kinds of family friendly activities for the whole community. Old favourites like the pancake breakfast at the AWG and Canada Day Parade are sure to be a hit.  The Civic Ceremony under the Big Top Tent and CIBC Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony will kick off the afternoon's events, with bouncers, games and food downtown in Iqaluit Square. Evening entertainment featuring great live music with backdrop of the beach will carry us through the evening.  We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Join us for the Fun Run in celebration of Canada 150!

Choose from a 1, 3 and 5km route.  Register at the Iqaluit Aquatic Centre, Guest Services Desk.  

Transportation will be provided from the AWG Arena to the park.  The 150 people to register receive a free Canada 150 t-shirt.

National Lifeguard (NL) Recertification.

Limited spots available, so register now!  This course is open to anyone that has an expired (or expiring) National Lifeguard Certification.  Training will take place in both the pool and the Multipurpose Room. Bring a bathing suit, towel, paper, pen and your LSS number. 

Cost: $100.00/candidate.
