Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off – Tundra Valley

The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents of the Household Hazardous Waste drop-off point open Saturday October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Tundra Valley between houses 2561 and 2453. This event provides residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste.

City Office Closure - Thanksgiving

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that City offices will be closed on Monday, October 13, 2024, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please note that residential water and sewer services, as well as garbage collection, will operate on their regular schedule. The Iqaluit Aquatic Centre will be open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
