Please be advised of a water shutdown on December 15, from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.

Temporary Water Pressure Changes – 5200 Area
December 5, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit is advising residents in the 5200 area to expect short-term dips in water pressure between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. over the next week, while City staff investigate an automation-related issue.

At 7:30 a.m. this morning, a brief drop in pressure was recorded, consistent with reported issues from this isolated area. Water pressure is currently back to normal, and there is no indication of a wider service interruption.
