April 22, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

Please be advised of a water shut down on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.

Location of water interruption: 172,173,174,175,176,177,179, 185A-F, 187A-F, 189A-F, and 191A-F.

The City of Iqaluit is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory for the above addresses.

Emergency Road Closure
April 21, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of an emergency road closure. Kangiqsliniq Drive at building 903 (map below) will be closed to thru-traffic due to a water main break needing repair.

The closure goes into effect on Thursday, April 21 at 11:30 AM. An update will be provided once the road is reopened.

The City of Iqaluit apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their understanding.

Access to Informal Beach Road from Lower Base to Be Closed

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that access to the informal beach road from Iglulik Drive in Lower Base, outlined in red below, will be permanently closed. The closure will take effect on Monday, April 25, 2022.
