Residents are advised of a road closure in the Plateau from Wednesday, February 17 to March 3, 2021 to allow for a repair to our water infrastructure.
Pingua Street from #5016 to #5020 will be closed to traffic both ways.
The attached map outlines the road detour in effect starting February 17.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise its businesses that renewed business licenses are now available at the new City Hall location at 1085 Mivvik Street.
As business licenses become available, clients will receive an automated message indicating that the license is available for pickup. The City kindly asks that clients refrain from coming to City Hall prior to receiving the notification that they are available.

City of Iqaluit to move to a new City Hall
The City of Iqaluit is excited to announce that City offices and council chambers are moving to a new City Hall building.
Offices currently located at 901 Nunavut Drive are moving to 1085 Mivvik Street. The move is scheduled to take place in phases during the month of February. To allow for the move of staff, in-person city business operations may be closed to the public for a short period of time. In this event, a public service announcement will be released to notify residents.
