The City of Iqaluit would like advise residents of a road closure on Qaqqamiut Road from Upper Base Garage to Green Acres from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 to allow for the installation of a new culvert.
There will be no through-way traffic at this point, and all residents who intend to use the road in Upper Base will need to go through the Plateau subdivision.

Government of Nunavut Public Health recommends that residents on piped services (utilidor) clean and flush their residential water system.

The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that it is the time of year for business licence
renewals for the 2022 calendar year.
Business owners are encouraged to submit renewals in the online Iqaluit Business Licence system
before January 31st, 2022 to take advantage of a discounted renewal fee. Renewals received on
February 1st, 2022 and later, will be subject to the full renewal fee.

Trick-or-treating will occur on Halloween, Sunday October 31st. Municipal Enforcement officers will be on mobile patrol on Hal-loween during the afternoon and evening on Sunday.
