Notice for Roadwork on Niaqungusiariaq to Apex

Residents are advised of roadwork on Niaqungusiariaq to Apex to allow for the replacement of a guardrail. This work will take place from Friday, November 6th to Sunday, November 15th, 2020.

The road will remain open for both lanes of traffic during the work with signage to direct traffic.

The work site will be contained by barricades to protect the pedestrians and vehicle traffic from the work zone.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.

Road Closure in Core Area Extended

Residents are advised that a road closure in the Core Area near West 40 to allow for sewer upgrades in the area has been extended until Sunday, November 8th, 2020.

Akilliq Drive will be reduced to one lane of traffic. Temporary traffic lights will be installed to control traffic flow.
