On January 20th, 2021, six Iqaluit Emergency Services Staff assisted in the Co-op fire in Igloolik at the request of the Nunavut Fire Marshal’s Office (NFMO).
The responding team consisting of two chief officers, three fire staff, and one volunteer accompanied a member of the NFMO on a flight from Iqaluit to Igloolik on January 20th to support the Igloolik fire department.

1653,1655,1657,1659,1661,1663,1665,1667,1669,1671 and 1673.
The City of Iqaluit is issuing a boil water advisory for these residents.
The City would like to remind residents that all pet owners are required to annually register their cat or dog by January 5th of each year.
As per the Responsible Pet Ownership By-law 796, if a cat or a dog that is older than four months are to be kept on municipal lands, the owner must have an annual license registered to the pet and renewed each year by January 5th.
