Santa Claus Parade

Join us on Saturday December 3rd, 2022 to kick off the holiday season with our annual Santa Claus Parade. For those participating will meet at the AWG Arena at 12:00pm, the parade will start at 1:00pm.

11:15 am- The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that city services have been restored, including water delivery, waste management and garbage removal, and that normal business hours have resumed. City recreational facilities are also open.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that the CCGS Henry Larsen is conducting ice-breaking operations near Iqaluit and Resolution Island and within Frobisher Bay this week. This is to allow a safe escort of the Kitikmeot W. and Qikiqtaaluk W. into Iqaluit’s Harbour.
