REMINDER: Parking on a roadway is prohibited
DECEMBER 27, 2019 (IQALUIT, NUNAVUT) – The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that as per the Nunavut Traffic Safety Act, as well as City of Iqaluit By-Law 625 the Traffic, Parking and Walkways By-law, its is prohibited to park a vehicle on any roadway unless there is traffic signage authorizing parking on a roadway.

December 27, 2019 (Iqaluit, Nunavut) The City of Iqaluit would like to remind residents that the cost for dog registration is thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for spayed or neutered dogs and fifty-five dollars ($55.00) for non-spayed/neutered dogs.

SLIPPERY ROADS – DRIVE WITH CAUTION
November 26th, 2019 - (IQALUIT, NUNAVUT) - The City is advising residents to drive with caution as road conditions can be slippery, especially on roads with a steep incline.
The City continues to monitor road conditions, and will send sanding trucks as required.
Scrap Metal Waste Now Being Accepted
SCRAP METAL WASTE
November 26th, 2019 - (IQALUIT, NUNAVUT) – Please be advised that the City of Iqaluit will resume accepting scrap metal at the landfill, effective immediately. Work being done at the landfill to facilitate access improvements has been completed ahead of schedule.
Scrap metal waste will only be accepted at the designated area of the West 40 Landfill.
Santa Claus Parade
Registration for this years Santa Claus Parade is now open!

There is no cost to participate.
