The brief water interruption on 496 498 500 1669 1670 1671 1673 has now been resolved.
496 498 500 1669 1670 1671 and 1673 remain under a precautionary boil water advisory.
During a precautionary boil water advisory, the City recommends that all water for consumption is brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of one full minute.
Please be advised of a water shut down on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at approximately 1:00 p.m. to allow for necessary water infrastructure work.

Repairs to Iqaluit’s Water Treatment Plant are wrapping up. The contractors responsible for the work expect to recommend to the City of Iqaluit that we apply to the Government of Nunavut for permission to return to using the treatment plant as soon as the end of next week.
The City of Iqaluit has also hired a full time certified water treatment plant operator to supervise the facility and ensure that it operates as designed.
The City of Iqaluit advises residents that the boil water advisory is lifted for the following location: Plateau.
