Partial Road Closure 
February 10, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Queen Elizabeth Way in front of the Post Office.

Local traffic will still be able to access buildings throughout the duration of the work. The site layout is shown below. These measures are anticipated to be in effect from February 10 to February 17, 2023.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of a partial road closure on Anuri Street between houses 4052 and 4054 due to an emergency water break.

Local traffic will still be able to access either end of this street, as well as all driveways, throughout the duration of the work. These measures are anticipated to be in effect from January 27 to February 06, 2023.

The first road closure will be along Niaqunngusirq Street (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive). The second phase of the closure will be along Federal Road (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive).

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closure in the 400 area on Atungauyait Drive (see map below), to allow for the replacement of the culvert.

The closure will be in effect from Saturday, September 24 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the road closure of Abe Okpik Street at the corner of Niaqunngusiariaq Drive (see map below), to allow for the replacement of the culvert.

The closure will be in effect from Saturday, September 24 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, September 25 from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
