Temporary Closure of Apex Bridge

July 18, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

 

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that the Apex Bridge will be closed to all traffic from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25, 2025.

 

This closure is necessary to allow crews to prepare the bridge for the installation of pavement at the bridge’s approach, which is scheduled to occur later this summer.

 

During this period, residents are advised to use the Angel Street bypass as an alternative route.

 

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation during this important work.
