Road Closures for July 1st Parade & Concert
June 29, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City would like to advise residents of the following road closures regarding the July 1st Celebrations:

• 12 PM until 1 PM July 1, 2022, during the Parade procession, some intersections along the road to Apex (Niaqunngusiariaq) will be briefly closed from the AWG Arena to the Four Corners intersection, and from Four Corners along Queen Elizabeth road to Nakasuk school. For safety reasons, please do not attempt to cut in between floats or interrupt the parade, as there are pedestrians in the parade.

• 1 PM until 4 PM, July 1 2022, following the July 1st Parade, Queen Elizabeth road will be closed from Northmart to Northwestel. Traffic entering the west entrance of Northmart may enter the Northmart parking lot but when exiting must use the same west side because the east end by Northwestel will be closed.
