Road Closure – Tasilik Street
October 24, 2025 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents that Tasilik Street will be closed to all traffic beginning Saturday, October 25, 2025, to allow for essential upgrades to the water and sewer infrastructure.

This closure is expected to remain in effect until Monday, November 10, 2025.

A map is included below to indicate the affected area and location of the work. A temporary access road will be built through the Apex Quickstop lot to allow residents to access Tasilik Street. Detour signage will be in place. Residents and drivers are asked to follow all posted instructions and plan alternative routes. Access for local residents will be maintained.

For safety reasons, please stay clear of construction equipment and work areas.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and understanding as this important work is completed.
