Road Closure – Positive Space Club Paints Pride Crosswalk at Inuksuk High School

June 4, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that Niaqunngusiariaq Drive will be closed to all traffic on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This closure is to allow the Inuksuk High School Positive Space Club to paint a crosswalk between the college and the high school in Pride colours, in accordance with Motion #20-264, which was unanimously passed by the Iqaluit City Council on September 8, 2020.

The below map outlines areas impacted by the road closure.
