Partial Road Closure and Traffic Control at 4-Corners Intersection
December 08, 2022 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to advise residents of the 2-phased road closure and traffic control measures being implemented around the 4-corners intersection to allow for road upgrades. The first road closure will be along Niaqunngusirq Street (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive). The second phase of the closure will be along Federal Road (from 4 corners to Nunavut Drive).

Local traffic will still be able to access business buildings throughout the duration of work. Detour routes are provided for all phases of the closure along Nunavut Drive and Igulik Street. The site layout and traffic control plans are shown below. These measures are anticipated to be in effect on:
