Road Closure – Anuri Street

August 17, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut

The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that Anuri Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Monday, August 17 to Saturday, August 22, 2026, to allow for culvert installation and road repairs.

The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of workers and the public while the work is underway.

Local and emergency access will be maintained for residents during the work period. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to use caution, follow all posted signage, and follow detour instructions provided on site.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and understanding as this important work is completed.
